Driver App Privacy Policy

Pulse Technology Solutions Inc Effective Date: September 8, 2026

Welcome to the Pulse Driver app. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide when you use our Pulse Driver mobile application (the “App”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. The App is published by Pulse Technology Solutions Inc (“Pulse,” “we,” or “us”).

You use the App to perform trips for a transportation provider that holds a Pulse account (your “Provider”). Much of the information described below is processed on your Provider’s behalf. Your use of the App is also governed by our Driver Terms of Use, and our general Privacy Policy covers the Pulse platform as a whole.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

a. Personal Information

1.1 Account Information. To use the Pulse Driver app you may be required to create an account. We collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and driver’s licence information, together with any operating credential and the registration, inspection, and insurance documents for the vehicle you drive. This information is used to manage your account, verify that you and your vehicle are authorized to perform trips, provide our services, and communicate with you.

1.2 Location Data. To facilitate dispatch and trip services, we collect precise location data from your device while you are logged in and marked on shift, including while the App is in the background. This data is used to match you with trips, calculate arrival times, confirm arrival at and departure from pickup and drop-off points, provide navigation assistance, and produce the trip record your Provider relies on. We do not collect your location when you are logged out or off shift. Location collection is essential to the App; if you disable it, you will not receive trips.

1.3 Passenger and Trip Information. To perform a trip you are shown passenger information, which may include a passenger’s name, addresses, appointment time, and mobility or equipment needs. We record the trips assigned to you, the trip events you mark and their timestamps, routes, and problem reports you submit. Calls you place through the App are routed through a masked number; we log that a call occurred and its duration, but we do not record its content.

b. Usage Data and Device Information

1.4 We automatically collect information about your device and how you use our App, including device model, operating system version, App version, IP address, device identifiers, crash reports, application logs, the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities. We use this to keep the App working, diagnose faults, protect your account from unauthorized access, and improve the service.

c. Payment Information

1.5 Pulse does not pay you and does not collect your bank or card details through the App. Your Provider pays you under its own arrangements. The App may display trip pay and earnings totals calculated from the pay rules your Provider configured; those figures are shown for your information only. Where Pulse processes any payment, it is handled by our trusted third-party payment processor, Stripe, and we do not store your card information.

2. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share your information with:

2.1 Your Provider. Your account, credential, location while on shift, and trip information is available to the Provider you perform trips for, which is responsible for those trips and for your credentials.

2.2 Brokers and Trip Sources. Where a trip originates from a broker, health plan, or government trip source, we exchange trip status, vehicle location, arrival-time estimates, and driver and vehicle identifiers with that source as the trip and your Provider’s contract require.

2.3 Passengers. A passenger assigned to you may see your first name, vehicle description, approximate location, and estimated arrival time for their trip. They are not shown your surname, personal telephone number, or home address.

2.4 Service Providers. Companies that provide services on our behalf, such as hosting, mapping and geocoding, masked telephony and messaging, push notifications, crash diagnostics, payment processing, and customer service. They act only on our instructions under contracts requiring them to protect your information.

2.5 Legal Obligations. If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, such as a court or a government agency, including regulators and Medicaid programs in connection with audits and investigations.

3. TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)

3.1 Messages We Send. Pulse sends you text messages only in connection with your use of the App. There are two kinds. One-time verification codes are sent to the mobile number on your account when you sign in or when you verify a new number, and are used to confirm that the number belongs to you. Fleet invitation messages are sent when a Provider invites you to join its fleet on Pulse, and contain the invitation and a link to accept it. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

3.2 Consent. You provide your mobile number and agree to receive these messages when you create your account or sign in to the App. Separately, a transportation company you are contracting with may provide your mobile number when it invites you to join its fleet; in that case you receive a single message about the invitation, and it carries opt-out instructions. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

3.3 Message Frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your own activity. You receive one message each time you request a verification code, and one message each time a Provider invites you to its fleet. Most drivers receive no more than a few messages per month.

3.4 Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. These are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.

3.5 Opting Out and Getting Help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from that number, START to opt back in, and HELP for help. You can also contact us at support@dispatch.software or on our contact page. If you opt out, we can no longer send you verification codes, so you may be unable to sign in to the App until you reply START to opt back in. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3.6 Mobile Information and Opt-In Data. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

4.1 You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. You can manage your account and profile settings within the App, or you can contact us directly to make changes.

4.2 You may withdraw any device permission, including location, camera, and notifications, at any time in your device settings. Going off shift stops location collection immediately.

4.3 We generally cannot delete the trip records themselves. They belong to your Provider, evidence trips billed to Medicaid, brokers, and health plans, and are subject to the retention periods in our Data Retention Policy, currently six years from the date of the trip. If we must retain information after a deletion request, we will tell you why.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, role-based access, and audit logging. No system is completely secure. You may report a suspected security problem to security@dispatch.software.

6. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
